Cooking Time: One Hour
Ingredients:
Soaked Rice 1/4 cup
Milk 700 ml
Saffron 1 pinch
MAS Chocolate Drinking Mix 15 gm
Sugar 3/4 cup
Cardamom (optional) 1 tbsp
Rolled Pistachios As per taste
Method:
- Soak the washed rice for an hour and leave it to dry completely.
- Once the rice grains are dried, grind them in a jar until the consistency is coarse.
- In a pan heat the milk till it begins to boil.
- Then add MAS Pista Drink Mix and sugar.
- Add the ground rice once the milk begins to boil and keep stirring often so the lumps are not formed. Milk will thicken gradually as the rice gets cooked.
- Add in the cardamom powder and saffron strands.
- Garnish with sliced almonds and rolled pista.
