The summers have been extremely brutal. With the intense heat and the humid atmosphere, we’re all uncomfortable and sticky. Throughout the day, we find ways to cool ourselves down. And, due to the hot, muggy weather that prevents us from falling asleep too early in the night, the languid days are accompanied by sleepless nights. and, when we stay up late, we have midnight cravings. We yearn for something that’s sweet, delicious, and COLD!!!

Ice cream, cold coffee, and chocolate are three things that can sate your sweet tooth. But what if you could have all three deliciously mixed into an easy-to-consume popsicle? That would be amazing, wouldn’t it? A simple, delectable, and chilled combination of chocolate and coffee, which we call “Choco Coffee Pops”, can prove to be the ideal pleasure for the sweltering summers!

These popsicles are the perfect treat for all coffee and chocolate lovers. And, the best part is that making and eating this yummy flavourful dessert is quite simple. We’ve provided you with the recipe for this delectable treat, that you can make with the help of MAS Chocolate Drink Mix, to create for your family a delicious summer pick-me-up from the freezer!

Cooking Time: One Hour

Ingredients:

Cocoa powder 15 gm
Instant Coffee Powder 0.5 gm
Baking Soda 1/2 tsp
Baking Powder 1 tsp
Refined Wheat Flour 2 cups
Sugar 1/4 cup
Veg Oil 1/4 cup
Salt 1/4 tsp
Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
Milk 1/2 cup
Vinegar 1 tbsp
MAS Chocolate Drinking Mix 30 gm
Fresh Cream/ Condensed Milk 3-4 tbsp

Method:

  1. Sift dry ingredients (Flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda, milk powder, cocoa powder, instant coffee powder, MAS Chocolate Drink Mix) and keep aside.
  2. Mix the milk, oil & curd with the dry ingredients to make a smooth batter. Spoon the batter into greased moulds.
  3. Bake the cake for 20 minutes at 170 to 190° C in a preheated oven until a skewer inserted in the centre comes clean. Cool on a wire rack.
  4. Once the cake is cool, crumble it in a large bowl, add milk/fresh cream or condensed milk.
  5. Roll the mixture into evenly sized balls. Place on a baking tray and refrigerate for 15-20 mins before coating.
  6. Melt dark, milk & white chocolate, push a lollipop stick into each ball, then gently dip the balls into the melted chocolate and garnish with candy melts, Choco chips, & dry fruits.
  7. Place them right side up in a large box and let them dry for 20 mins before serving.
